Admission Information

Students who have passed the 10th class examination from a recognized board/council are eligible for admission into the H.S. course. However, the admission of a student into this course is determined by the eligibility criteria laid down by A.H.S.E.C. only. For admission, students are selected strictly on the basis of merit. The admission procedure takes place immediately after the declaration of the H.S.L.C. / Class 10 result. Students selected for admission have to produce the following documents in original at the time of admission. Photocopies of these documents should also be attached with the Application Form.

3% of the seats are reserved for sports, music, and cultural activities quota each.
4 (four) seats are reserved under Management Quota.
Required Documents:
  • Pass Certificate and Mark sheet of H.S.L.C. Exam
  • Admit Card of H.S.L.C. / Class 10 Exam
  • Caste Certificate
  • Gap Certificate, if necessary
  • Migration Certificate, if necessary
  • Certificate for sports, music, cultural activities, etc.
  • Two unattested passport-sized coloured photographs
Admission Procedure:

The admission into the institution takes place through online mode. Students have to apply through “DARPAN” - the online admission portal of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) for admission into the H.S. First Year Course. Applying for admission through the online portal merely does not ensure admission into the institution. The selection list of the students for admission will be generated, as per the availability of seats in the institution, automatically on the basis of their merit. After the selection process is over, students will have to fill in and submit a separate admission form of the institution and get their admission done thereafter. Students can obtain the Admission form along with the Prospectus from the institution office.
